well, i guess you can check how they find the difference in other WP plugins in this issue…

about the settings: i guess there are many browsers ans OS that you didn’t added to this plugin. maybe you can add an option to the user to add by himself agents, and maybe you can even make the plugin to send what the users added to a main DB, so he will share his knowledge with tall the plugins users

but there is problem. since most of the linux distros do not leave a trace in user agents we aren’t able to distinguish one distro from another.

and about what you said -adding agents in settings page- I didn’t really get what you mean. explain it a little bit.
